Here we go!

First, open a new canvas 500 x 500. Then, flood fill white. Open your tube and duplicate it into a new window (just use Shift+D). Close the original and leave the duplicate up for reference.

Open a paper of your choice – I am using “Paper 1” from the kit. Copy it and paste it onto your white canvas. Go ahead and save now.

You can colorize your paper to better match your tube. If you are using the same tube as me, I used Colorize settings: Hue 225 and Saturation 75.

Now, with your paper layer active, apply your mask. I am using WSL_Mask245. Be sure that “Source luminance” is checked, “Fit to canvas” is checked, “Hide all mask” is checked, and “Invert transparency” is UNchecked.

Now, right-click on your mask layer and choose “Delete.” Then choose “Yes” to merge the mask into the layer below. Right click on the merged layer and choose “Merge,” then choose “Merge Group.” Save again.

Copy and paste a new paper (or the same one) as a new layer. Colorize it if necessary. I am using “Paper 2” from the kit, colorized using the same settings as before.

Next, copy and paste your frame as a new layer. I am using the frame that came with the kit. I colorized it using the same settings as the paper.

With your frame layer active, choose your magic wand tool. Set the Mode to “Add” and the Tolerance to “0.” Click once inside each side of the frame. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand by 5 pixels. Then go to Selections>Invert. Now, click on your newest paper layer and hit the delete button. Then, Selections>None. Be sure your paper layer is below your frame layer. Save.

Now, copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize and move it so that it fits how you like in one side of the picture frame. Move it below your picture frame layer. With your frame layer active, choose your magic wand tool. Set the Mode to “Add” and the Tolerance to “0.” Click once inside the side of the frame with your tube. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand by 5 pixels. Then go to Selections>Invert. Now, click on your tube layer and hit the delete button. Then, Selections>None. Save.

If you want, you can change the Blend Mode on your tube layer. I am using “Lighten.” Hide your white background layer and your mask layer. Right-click on one of the other layers. Choose Merge>Merge Visible.

Now, copy and paste your tube again. Leave this one in front of your picture frame. I arranged mine so that it looks like she is sitting on the frame. Save.

Next, apply a drop shadow to your frame and to your large tube. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. For the frame, I am using settings 0, 0, 90, 10, color #58314c. For my tube, I am using settings 0, 3, 70, 10, color black. Save.

If you want to add some accents, there are cute ones with the kit. I am using one of the flowers, resized to 111x119 and colorized using the same settings as before. I also gave it a drop shadow of 0, 0, 100, 5, color black. Save.

Now, before you add your copyright info and other text, resize the tag to its final size. First, crop off any excess around the edges. Then, choose Image>Resize. Under “Advanced settings,” be sure “Lock aspect ratio” and “Resize all layers” are both CHECKED. Save again.

Now add your copyright info, license number (if applicable), and tagger’s mark (if you use one). Save

Finally, add your name. I am using font “Vantasyhouse” at a size of 72, stroke width 2, using black for my stroke (foreground) color and #842e6b for my fill (background) color. Convert to raster layer.

Go to Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel. Use Bevel #2, Width 12. Smoothness 16, Depth 2, Ambience and Shininess 0, Angle 315, Intensity 50, Elevation 30, and Light Color White.

Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings 3, 3, 100, 5, color #4e2c44.

Save and you are done!
