Tube of choice – I am using art that is ©Marjolein Gulinski, www.marjoleinart.com. I have purchased a license to use her work. If you do not have a license, please do not use her work. If you would like more info on purchasing a license, visit mypsptubes.com

Here we go!

First, open a new canvas 500 x 500. Then, flood fill white. Open your tube and duplicate it into a new window (just use Shift+D). Close the original and leave the duplicate up for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Duplicate the tube layer. Go ahead and save now.

On the bottom tube layer, apply Mura’s Filter Meister Copies with these settings:

Duplicate the layer that you just applied the filter to. Save.

On the bottom most tube layer, apply Effects>Art Media Effects>Colored Chalk: Detail 50, Opacity 50.

To this same layer, apply Effects>Distortion Effects>Curlicues: Settings “Four by Four.” Save.

On same layer, Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur: Radius 5

On the middle tube layer, Adjust>Blur>Motion Blur: Settings “Morning Eyes.” Save.

On the middle tube layer, Effects>Texture Effects>Mosaic Antique: Settings “Grid Blur.” Save.

On the middle tube layer, Adjust>Blur>Motion Blur: Settings “Morning Eyes.”

To middle tube layer, apply mask of choice. I am using WSL_Mask104. Be sure that “Source luminance” is checked, “Fit to canvas” is checked, “Hide all mask” is checked, and “Invert transparency” is CHECKED.

Now, right-click on your mask layer and choose “Delete.” Then choose “Yes” to merge the mask into the layer below. Right click on the merged layer and choose “Merge,” then choose “Merge Group.” Save again.

Now, on your top tube layer (which is just the individual tube), apply a drop shadow of choice. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings -2, 2, 70, 5, color black. Save.

Create a new raster layer above your top tube layer. Selections>Select All. Selections>Modify>Contract by 20 pixels. Selections>Invert.

Flood fill the selection with a gradient of a dark and light color from your tube. I am using #404f75 and #ad9fae, Style Radial, Angle 0, Repeats 7.

Effects>Texture>Texture – Apply texture of choice, I used “Cork.” Apply a drop shadow of choice. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings 0, 0, 90, 10, color black. Save.

Selections>Select All. Selections>Modify>Contract by 8 pixels. Selections>Invert.

Flood fill the selection with the same gradient you used earlier, but this time invert the colors. Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel with the following settings:

Apply a drop shadow of choice. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings 0, 0, 90, 10, color black. Save.

Hide your tube layer. Click on any other layer and right click, choose Merge>Merge Visible. This newly merged layer – resize by percentage – 90%. Be sure “Resize all layers” is UNchecked.

Move this resized layer down below your tube layer. The resized layer should have a transparent area around the edges. Flood fill that area with your gradient. Save.

Now, before you add your copyright info and other text, resize the tag to its final size. First, crop off as much as you like around the edges. Then, choose Image>Resize. Under “Advanced settings,” be sure “Lock aspect ratio” and “Resize all layers” are both CHECKED. Save again.

Now add your copyright info, license number (if applicable), and tagger’s mark (if you use one). Save

Finally, add your name. I am using font “Gunther Calligrpahic” at a size of 90, stroke width 1.5, using #404f75 for my stroke (foreground) color and the gradient we used earlier for my fill (background) color.

I rotated my name using Image>Free Rotate – Rotate to the left 15 degrees.

Next, convert to raster layer. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel with the same settings as earlier.

Then, go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings 3, 3, 70, 7, color black.

Save and you’re done!
